The Event
We are SHEFF1 Racing and we are competing in the F1 in schools competition in which we race a small F1 car down a track powered by a CO2 cylinder. This is our first year competing in the F1 in schools challenge meaning it is a great achievment for us securing a place in the national final. At regionals we were also awarded the best portfolio. SHEFF1 Uniform
Our uniform
When designing our team uniform, we took many things into consideration. Our team believed that making our uniform the same colours as our logo would represent who we are. We wanted our uniform to look professional. The uniforms, which were custom fit for us, were made by Taoray Wang, who kindly sponsored us. She is known to be one of the largest fashion designers in China. The whole team mutually decided to have the layout of the uniform as shown. We decided to make it like this as we would like the ‘SHEFF1 RACING’ to be the biggest and the thing mostly on show so people know who we are. The team also decided to put the badge in the top corner, with our initials, as it personalises our shirts and looks professional. Our sponsor, TaoRay Wang, is the owner of the brand ‘taoray taoray’ which is a brand of her main company ‘taoray wang’. She kindly agreed to make our uniform, within two days they were manufactured and sent them to the UK from China and they arrived here within the 2 day period.

The WNT Group is a sales organization supplying precision cutting tools to the metal cutting industry. The company, WNT, have provided us with the teams SHEFF1 Racing banners.

The Timken Company engineers and manufactures bearings and mechanical power transmission components. The company, Timken, have provided us with 20 bearing for our car and spares.
